     @hj i think it's possible to have temporary fixes but you really have to make it obvious so they get fixed later (e.g. an issue properly labelled with the code in question, etc)

     @lanodan @hj sometimes we do need workarounds if we want to push things forwards, because "real fixes" can take forever and this is a social network, users don't exactly care for the code behind it, as long as it works. see keyId resolving

     @helene @hj I use email, RSS in my case isn't manageable as I get just read/unread status.
     Gitea could be nicer but we've been on Gitlab for 5+ years, a migration would be pain.
