     @helene i love the concept, taking a bunch of existing, working standards and leveraging them all into a cohesive social network platform. in practice it doesn't work for the reasons people always bring up.

     and you can do that for every page on that website, it's made by one of the people behind activitypub/activitystreams and it is proper AP-compatible
     
     you'll get what the true intent for AP was, it's really not horrible at all, it's just that well, if one implementation gets popular and does things you might not like, you have to sadly follow or adapt if you want to federate. it's not AP's fault, really
