     For a while I was able to get facebook messenger to work with an OTR plugin. I managed to get like one friend to test it with me. Everyone else was so confused on the concept of e2e.

     @coolboymew Oh my god it was the pinnacle of design. Trillian on Windows Vista was so ahead of its time. Now frosted glass and backdrop blurs are in, and I’m like… ever heard of 2008?

     @alex I’m not sure if I miss Trillian as much as I miss the days when I used Trillian.

     It was an amazing bit of software, though, and made life so much easier.

     @realcaseyrollins it was one windows app that let you chat using MSN Messenger, Yahoo! messenger, AOL Instant MEssenger, ICQ, and IRC without having to switch. It's actually still around, I used it on my iPhone for IRC at LibrePlanet last year.
