   Back in 2016, @Google & co scrubbed me from the results for "Slepak".

   This censorship persists to this day.

   I am not the only one they do this to (see https://twitter.com/Perpetualmaniac https://www.zachvorhies.com).

     The Internet has not had real search engines for over a decade.

     What you see in search results for practically every search engine is not "The Internet".

     The Internet needs search engines - real ones.

     .@brave somehow allowed Google to corrupt its results.

     They're trying to fix this with an opt-in setting called WDP (Web Discovery Project): https://twitter.com/BrendanEich/status/1593297632880775168

     I mean, that's one way of doing it. A more correct approach would be better though.

     To give an idea of just how bad Internet search is: I could not find a single search engine that lists Donald Trump's Truthsocial account on the first, or even second page of results.

     Yet that is clearly the link that needs to be either #1 or #2 in the results.
