     @patterfloof @kingu_platypus_gidora This was still happening inthe 20th century, in some places. I heard about a guy who's ambidextrous because the nuns in school would tie his left hand behind his back so that he would learn to write with his right hand.

     @kingu_platypus_gidora being left handed & reading this, while knowing left is "sinister" in Latin :/

     (right is dexter, as in dextrous)
