The cow's horn lying on a forestry track. The horn tip is black, turning to light brown closr to the base. The horn appears to have broken off, as the base has a rough edge.

   The "Wicker Man" walk never fails to provide a surprise. On to-day's #DogWalk we found what looks to be a small cow's horn.

   This was surprising for a couple of reasons. Most cattle here have their horns removed when they are young. Honourable exception to this convention is for Highland Cattle. Secondly, the nearest cattle are about three miles away. The horn could have been carried here by a fox, but, I would wonder why. Yet another mystery.

   Horn is 25cm tip to base.
