Alright, finally got it all taken care of.
I couldn't use insurance because the phone is under warranty and the screen isn't cracked so I had to call Google. They sent a return slip and everything but I couldn't get the replacement because because I don't have $980 in my bank account to cover the temporary hold.
So I had to call Google again, they cancelled that return order and made a new one that will take 5-10 business days because they won't ship the replacement until they get my broken phone. That's fine, this Galaxy S9 should be enough to get me by until then.
At least I won't have to pay anything.
I'm just happy it's taken care of and that a replacement phone is going to be coming.
Now I'm thirsty.
