Certified avionics systems with "cryptographic firmware validation" are very secure. I know this because it is written in the manual.
They use XOR cipher with 0x2 as key. Nothing more.

As a futurist, I regularly track my predictions. I've been pretty right on most things for 30+ years.
I realized today that the post I wrote in 2021 when I was pretty down about the state of world affairs, has now seen point #1 become true.
The evidence? A Texas judge ruling on abortion - meaning that one person can now easily overcome majority rule; the situation in Tennessee (likely soon to be replicated and repeated in other states) with basically disenfranchises voters at will, and so much more.
As a Canadian, it is terribly dispiriting to watch it happen in real-time. We are hopeful for our country but know we have challenges too.
