"I'd like to be back with my wife. Take me home." Poof, he's gone. "I would love to see my children again". And then he's gone. "I'm so bored without my buddies. Bring them back." @thomasfuchs These narratives are so pervasive and self-reinforcing. For instance, people always claim how far ahead Google are in machine translation and yet it’s not my experience. Here’s just one example between Apple’s built in translation vs Google’s online translation.
Look at how much better Apple’s translation is.
