Four-panel comic titled "Rejected Space Mission Profiles." - Top left, "Jupiter Rover": a tiny rover-like vehicle falls through Jupiter's clouds, yelling "AAAAA!" - Top right, "Voyager 2 Orbiter": the Voyager spacecraft is pictured with a small satellite following a dotted elliptical orbit around the spacecraft. - Bottom left, "Crewed Pluto Flyby": a dotted trajectory swings past a small distant body and continues away; a tiny spacecraft says, "Uh, bye, I guess." - Bottom right, "Neptune Core Return": a small rocket-like spacecraft is emerging from the top of Neptune, whose round body is drawn like a bulging sack around a smaller body that is pulled out by the spacecraft. Hidden text: "Although NASA agreed that Voyager 2 'seemed lonely' they decided against launching a companion orbiter mission after further measurements indicated that the spacecraft actually preferred the peace and quiet."
