Sorao is being gay at this, her heart skipping a beat. While I can't really prove to you how nice this looks on the eyes, the blacks are really black and there's no glare or shine to the black-white manga page.

   ok so this is dope—again, I have no way to show it to you through a photo, but the oled screen with the matte filter, while it's still to bright for my tastes in a pitch black bedroom at night (even at minimum brightness + "night mode") – at average café ambient light it's amazing, practically as good as e-ink to read manga. now I kinda want to slap matte films on every screen I have, plus I'm like, bitter and resentful that this isn't the industry standard for the screens themselves (like my daughter's drawing tablet that inspired this whole thing). even the muting of the colours in the odd colour page looks better than the garish gloss of normal Android glass in my opinion, and objectively way less harsh on the eyes. (though where the OLED truly shines continues to be the gorgeous blacks. well, where it doesn't shine I guess.)

   also: this manga is so gay lol :heart_sparkles_lesbian:
