@augieray growing up, my parents always spoke about JC like he was mankind's greatest villain. My mom once, after a few margaritas, sheepishly admitted to me that she voted for Carter and has been torn up about it ever since.
So, naturally, as a dumb kid I'm thinking that this guy must have been a seriously bad man. When Wikipedia came around, I started reading about him, and felt so betrayed by my parents' lies that I left the Christian faith wholesale. It was the final straw, really.
keep this in mind: the people of Gaza voted for a party (Hamas) whose explicit goal is to destroy all Jews.
a democratic election is what produced that.
This is outside of the bounds of the research I’ve done so far, so forgive me if I’m wrong, but didn’t that election happen in 2006? Even though the #Hamas charter was violent then, I have heard that a) #Hamas started oppressing the people as soon as they took power and b) there hasn’t been an election since.
So I’m not sure if the peoples’ minds have changed since 2006, but even if they have, #Hamas might force the people to pretend to agree with them regardless.
So to investigate this, I started by checking the status on the service. Last run was the weekend two weeks ago and hadn't been triggered since.
So I did a `systemctl list-timers`, last scheduled run was two weeks ago, next is this Sunday.
So why did it skip this Sunday?
@coleens_ @fit7 I saw this feature go into preview over the summer and have been waiting with bated breath for wide release ever since.
So far, I’ve only used it once… to troll my manager.
