have you even verified that the accounts you linked to have gone through the careful vetting that goes into listing actual gaza humans at https://gaza-verified.org/people/

I guess not, because a number of the links you listed don't seem to be listed there

what does that mean? that others are creating fake accounts with their names to cast doubt on their actual ones? that they've set up additional accounts that haven't been verified (yet?), because haters often report and flag their legitimate accounts? that someone else is replicating their posts, including their fundraisers?

I trust Gaza Verified's vetting process. I encourage people who can help the people behind vetted accounts to do so. I discourage conflation of vetted accounts with nonvetted ones. Direct your healthy distrust to those who deserve it.

@LibertyForward1 Thank you for writing this.

As far as folks from Gaza go, if you see someone listed on https://gaza-verified.org/people/, you can be sure that:

Either me or @casey and either @rania40, @aseelfromgz, or @joyousjoyness has spoken with them over video chat and we can verify that they’re Palestinian from Gaza (and, unless otherwise stated, in Gaza now).

And that’s all we can attest to.

Want to help people in Gaza suffering through a genocide perpetrated by Israel and supported by many of our own governments?

Here’s a list of everyone we’ve verified using video calls with links to their fundraisers, ranked by how much they managed to raise in the last week:

   💕

PS. They’re all on the fediverse (see https://gaza-verified.org/people/) so many also give some of them a follow? If you can’t help financially, a few words of kindness also go a long way (and who knows, you might just make a wonderful new friend. I know that I’ve made quite a few.)

@CorioPsicologia Si quieren corroborar que el perfil sea efectivamente de una persona Palestina en el fediverso, hay una lista que se actualiza con regularidad: https://gaza-verified.org/people/
