   It's a fair point to collapse the speculative hidden hand of the hidden hand, etc. down into a singular conception, absent a reason to believe otherwise.
   But doesn't your first argument about disposable faces suggest a reason to believe that the controllers would want to keep their faces hidden, to minimize potential disposability?
   We're talking about specific groups and people here, and it's seeping into the zeitgeist…
