Standing in a circular tower on a flight of spiral steps curving around the interior wall, looking across at two more spiralling staircases curving up the wall opposite, one above the other, both rising from lower right towards the upper left, and both twisting sharply to show their smooth undersides lined with a brick-like pattern. To the right the uppermost of the two staircases joins with an open doorway through which a plain white corridor with some doorways off can be seen. The tower walls are lit by short, vertical, tubular lights.

Another #Photography hashtag I'm only too happy to join in with is #StairSunday and this is a pretty special set. This is the triple helix #spiral staircase at the Museo do Pobo Galego in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, shot in 2018. The #museum is fabulous and these #stairs are the stars of the place. Part of a convent building, the #design was deliberate, to confuse unauthorised visitors.
