   btw that woman sent follow requests to several people, immediately followed by a toot mentioning all of us where she explains that it's "just basic manners" to use an avatar, write a revealing bio, and to always follow back.

   so obviously I blocked her. that's not how you introduce yourself to a bunch of perfect strangers. it's just basic manners

   for me, while music is something i can enjoy and chill to, it's also truly a sanity valve. so many times in my life when i just didn't know how to deal with the shit life seemed to be shovelling my way, music was an outlet, a release, a source of strength, and a way to push back.

   so much music out there is powerful because it still resonates of the pain that was exorcised, even if only for a few minutes. other music is powerful in expressing and sharing the joy and wonder a musician felt.
