   The Wild Robot (2024) was gorgeous. I'll admit to crying a couple times (I'm a softie for the subject matter) but story-wise it played things very safe, and some of the critical scenes felt very rushed.

   In some ways it felt like a dialogue-less short that they stretched into a feature-length kids movie. Still, it was sweet and very lush.
