@eriner My illiteracy huh? I was hacking on crypto and RFID when you were in your dad's nutsack kiddo.
Your entire line of reasoning is i) it's inevitable or ii) it's already pervasive in some domains so who gives a shit.
As someone who was subjected to tyranny for resisting jab passports for poison injections, I'm happy to inform you that govt incompetence and a "wide ecosystem" of credentials is your friend, especially from jurisdicition creep and easy of tyrannical horizontal integration.
I have had a different experience, Apple has always worked extremely well for me, very stable, very reliable, hardly any interruptions whatsoever. I can't explain this, maybe I jus got lucky, but nearly 20 years is a long time to be lucky for.
This is all true, until about a year or two ago when things started to take a nasty turn and Apple let standards slip, and now, it's increasingly shit.
As for pure tech - ignore those pricks!
[seeing a discussion of fuck MAGA relatives vs. keep the lines of communication open]
I kept the "lines of communication open" with my right wing family until I was 43.
But the condition of keeping those lines open was that I challenged their bullshit whenever they said hateful shit.
As we finally shut those lines of communication down in 2011, I learned how much they dreaded interacting with me.
Honestly, they're a bunch of bastards and I should have axed the relationship years earlier.
