   @snacks @kaia It's complicated. The open implementation doesn't have any of the Windows-specific features I think (similar to PowerShell Core). It's not like they implemented them in Linux and macOS with the same API. Essentially it's cross-platform with an asterisk. Technically yes, but not really if you don't write the whole project as cross-platform from the start and actively try to keep it that way.
   
   With ASP, Wikipedia at least implies that it is fully open now.
