   When you mention to companies or other people the power the U.S. government has over Microsoft, you usually come across as paranoid. We need to get back control.

   Um, Home Assistant's entire reason for being is decentralized, local control.

   As long as my LAN/WLAN works, so does the majority of my automation.

   No WAN/cloud required.
