In the center of this photo are the fruits of three plants called Hoozuki〜Chinese Lanterns. To be precise they are the thin skin covering the round fruit. The thin skins are three-dimensional, heart-shaped, and have many veins and laying hairs. The fruit in the upper left of the photo is still young and green. The fruit in the center and lower right of the photo is orange in the upper half and green in the lower half. One small ant is walking on the berries. The background is a blur of their large leaves and stems.
