   Yesterday, I took a dive into Bokan Desu Yo... which turned out to be the SECOND of two Time Bokan shmups on PS1, so I've basically played the games out of order... oops... anyway...

   You can definitely tell this is the first game - the spritework certainly isn't quite as pretty, and there's surprisingly few FMVs (and a few things that had voice acting in the sequel are conveyed entirely through text here). Gameplay-wise, it's largely the same... though, taking a hit puts you on a longer stun-timer in this one.
