The Golden Pavilion and the pond surrounding it. Its reflection can be seen in the water. On the side where the sun hits the pavilion, which is on the other side from where the picture was taken, there is some glimmering due to the light reflecting off the gold.

   It was quite a long bus ride (after quite a long wait for the bus), so I ended up napping on it and almost missed the stop lol. It was a good thing my friend remained awake and woke me up.

   Kinkaku-ji is certainly the more popular pavilion, and there is a much bigger crowd here. I managed to nab a pretty good photo of it though, despite the crowd!

   While the Golden Pavilion is certainly a sight to behold, I still kinda like Ginkaku-ji a bit more? Like Bocchi from Bocchi the Rock, although it's for different reasons (I just like Ginkaku-ji because of the sand structures, hehe).
