   This honkey doesn't know how to keep a Tor service from getting DDoS'd without PoW. I am pretty certain that you know that Headless Chrome is firmly planted in the skiddy toolkit, and that anyone willing to pay actual money for a DDoS is almost certainly able to get enough GCE/EC2 computes to execute JavaScript. If this is your solution, you're gonna get hosed again when they figure it out. You're already lazy-loading the images, just tack a step onto the front of that. It shouldn't be necessary to even see the stupid PoW page.

   Imagine thinking "words on a goddamn page", something that was almost zero-latency in the 80s, should be a CPU-intensive problem for the client in anno domini 1980+44, or that words on a goddamn page ought to require JavaScript to begin with.
   
   I suppose you don't use a phone or a laptop very often and either you expect the people attempting to read words on a goddamn page not to use a portable device either, or the smell of burning genitals doesn't bother you. If you think a water-cooled AlienWare gaming rig is necessary for looking at words on a goddamn page, it's no wonder you insist that no one could possibly actually use a DevTerm.
