These groups like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are basically the only international tools we have against genocide. Their only power is soft power: they live or die solely by respect, buy-in, a shared global belief in their moral authority.
It is hard for me to imagine that dismantling our meager international capacity to fight genocide won’t open the doors to the targeting of Jewish people. This is such a dangerous game defenders of Israeli right-wingers are playing.

I don't think it's that. And I don't think he's getting paid.
I think it's just a natural, knee-jerk alignment with authority.
It would also be more reassuring if he weren't in such numerous company that way.
