   Might be inspired by Krazy Kat and George Herriman’s interest in Navajo art if one wanted to reach for meaning in surrealist history?

   #KrazyKat comic from 1918 where the Black Kat has their tail curled to “pass” as a pig

   Tail uncurls in the rain, they’re found out, and white Ignatz mouse (as usual) hits Krazy with a brick 🧱

   Interesting because Herriman was Black Creole from #NewOrleans who passed for white and would have known all about hair straighteners
