   I am SO glad I didn't go into tech

   it was pushed so hard on me as a kid when everyone saw that as the future but I saw everyone 4-5 years older than me getting degrees in the field and realized it would be oversaturated by the time I got out there.

   This is my current experience in the industry but 18+ years experience. I used to always get callbacks with just my resume, never wrote a cover letter before 2023. Also I have a white man's name so they probably throw my resume in the trash immediately.
