   My husband's family are usually pretty great, but we're on a trip together, and I'm starting to see why he has stress and anxiety around certain things.

   My family had some real issues when I was growing up...but the concept of "everyone has mental and emotional needs that should be taken seriously,l"—while not always perfectly executed—was at least generally accepted (not by my older sister, but she's a piece of work).

   I'm Ishambard, 34, from England.
   Life-long gamer who is currently running riot on games from childhood and general oddities I find online. Will often toot about things I have recently beaten on RetroAchievements with my thoughts on them.

   Massive Nintendo fan, 90s anime fan, and manga reader. Wannabe creative person of sorts who will sometimes bake or make something when time is available.

   A lot of my personal time is taken up by recording low effort Let's Plays and uploading these to YouTube, as I don't have a consistent schedule to be a streamer. I mostly play things that are of interest to me and want to share, sometimes classic things and sometimes really weird obscure things.

   Mental (and physical) rehab is the most challenging thing I ever done.

   I thought I had it covered. I learned about technologies when no one had ever used them.
   I learned to fly the Airbus 320 and seaplanes in marginal weather.
   And yet, this is where I am now, my world upside-down, and sometimes struggling to do basic things.

   Hey guys, im reposting this since it's a new account, but essentially i live in a neglectful home, and im currently unemployed and im disabled (i have confirmed adhd, i also currently suspect i have ocd), and im therefore very poor and unable to afford basic necessities. I am very poor and unable to afford medical treatment or food or other things.

   My mom doesnt take care of me at all (she has always been very neglectful of me), my family has mostly abandoned me and none of them help me. I live with them in the same house but they dont want to help me beyond that. They dont pay for my food or any other basic necessities. I cannot afford basic necessities like food or cookware on my own as i do not have an income without donations. Please help me. I need donations desperately. Please.

   Sorry, that was not what I wanted to know.
   I know the whole public things.

   My question is :
   - blocking at a user level do the same (for my account) than a defederation ?
   - if, on a 2-users instance, both decide to block tread, is it the same than a defed ?
   - concerning Threads conditions too ? Do they treat user-block the same way than a full defed ?

   It seemed more like he was talking down to #SCOTUS tho rather than genuinely thinking that they did not know these things.

   My favorite part was how he talked about his upbringing and then joining politics but completely skipped over the part about his ties with the #KKK, going so far as to insinuate that he was a longtime friend and fan of #JohnLewis
