   @acsawdey @emilygorcenski yeah the supply sounds awful for sure, just don't want y'all doing this common mistake and then ending up with sewage siphoned into your laundry. Best wishes for a successful remodel!

   Edit: here's a photo of typical drain installation instructions. You do want about 5" of hose in the drain pipe, secured with a cable tie and room for air to flow.
