   📷 "The Incident at Kituwah (ᎩᏚᏩ)" — Update

   Drove by the spot yesterday where, on December 5th, I ended up with my legs twisted and stuck on under the Fiat and my head was *this close to the busy road. On the grass, bottom right. I've avoided going back and have taken an alt route to Bryson City since.

   My fractured left fibula is still healing, but is much improved, with only minor pain after 10 days in an orthopedic boot. ❤️

   Dedicated 90W PSU connection.
   1600 x 1200 resolution.
   Built in CD/DVD read/Write
   Media bay takes floppy, or HDD, or 2nd battery.
   Docking port.
   No laptop > 1080 lines since.

   My 2023 laptop:
   1x combo audio
   2 x USB. One needed for charging, that's also the higher speed port & can do DP video instead.
   1x μmicro SD card slot, tied up..

   I built possibly the earliest same-tab tool for getting AI image descriptions in Aug 2022, using a then newly updated Microsoft AI API. I listened to Disabled folks about it. I've payed close attention to the subject since.

   My criticisms of @mozilla plans for Firefox built in AI alt text generation aren't because of knee-jerk AI hatred or some ignorance. They are because I understand this to a breadth and depth extremely rare and I want acknowledgement of major issues being ignored 🧵…

   23 years ago, my "father" attempted an infanticide on young me (I wasn't even 3 yet, but I still have some memories unfortunately) and a feminicide on my mum, before doing the same thing to himself.

   I wasn't supposed to survive, it was a "miracle", they all said. Then I was supposed to lose my hand but didn't thanks to a successful surgery, but I lost everything on that day and it's been a weight ever since.

   My whole life became hell.
