@WashedOutGundamPilot @Boomerman @Shadowman311 @sickburnbro Yes, it needs to be a magnetic connector that has all of the pins, unlike the charger or USB2.0 ones which only have 2 or four pins.
It's a lot of pins in such a dense connector and a lot of wires in such a dense multicore cable, I recently had a "cheap" 3m USB4 cable start failing to handshake over what I can only assume was internal damage from very minor kinking (it was left loosely coiled then gradually pulled straight while moving the attached device around) and I can't think of any other consumer cable that seems this fragile. It's funny to think that it's like a 5mm thick version of those multicores which are like 15mm thick and still feel relatively fragile for stage wiring.
