   What I'd love to see is an extension that switches the line (what's it called?) out with a small "nook" (notch? ;)), kinda like the original wing panel of elementary – except with only the clock (or pref for what it should contain, ofc).

   You should get to move it and change its level of opacity, and it should float above windows. When moving your mouse close to it it should get transparent. It should not receive any clicks, so you can work on whatever's below.
