As a post-op bariatric surgery patient, I have never gotten so-called "dumping syndrome". Maybe it's because I am lucky, maybe it is because I hate to eat anyway, maybe it's because I mostly follow the rules.
But I will tell you that NOTHING happens if I eat a targeted piece of bread very occasionally. On the other hand, chicken often makes me barf, and 3 bites of this meatball thing just sent me free-wheeling to the bathroom.
I've dropped over 100 pounds in the last 6 months, and for that I am grateful and relieved. But anyone who thinks this shit is easy is genetically blessed, chain-smokes like a fiend, or is an uninformed asshole. Probably all 3.
It was worth it for me, though I will tell you the only reason I think I will keep the weight off now is that I hate eating sooo much that I am struggling with nutritional goals.
That is not really fun. Often it is physically painful. I hate myself much less now, which is wonderful but we all have to eat.
I drink a LOT of protein shakes, friends.
I don't like Genocide Joe, but presidential historians generally put him in the top 15, and put Trump in the bottom 3.
It says a lot about the bias of the mainstream media that Republicans don't get laughed at nor called out when they insist on the exact opposite.
Holy moly. Using kagi is reawakening my old google fu. I searched for "sharken a knife along the taper" and this forum post was result 3.
It's like there's a whole internet out there somewhere.

Also Hyunjin had recently got deeply into songwriting too, and he's matched up with Seungmin.
You can see Hyunjin being excited to teach someone else all the things he's been learning himself. (Teaching someone else is a great way to improve your own learning.)
I haven't listened to the finished songs yet. Only up to episode 3.
It seems to me like Changbin & I.N are making great progress, as are Hyunjin & Seungmin ... but it's hard to tell for now.
My wife and did an Alien Quadrilogy marathon this weekend, and...
Look, Alien Resurrection was never a good #film, but I'm surprised how poorly it has aged compared to the first 3.
It's so full of cringe dialogue and terrible 1990s moviemaking tropes. And most of the actors seem like they were cast to be goofy caricatures of sci-fi/military characters.
WHAT WENT WRONG?
(Sidenote: the original Alien is timeless, and perhaps the ONLY film of these first 4 that I classify as horror/suspense.)
