Gonna try hooking up one fan first, just to see if I can manage the heat output at all. If it goes well, I'll try hooking up all three.
My worst fear has been realized, however: the fans are about as thick as the P40 itself, meaning I'm gonna have to engineer a fancy manifold so I don't block the intakes. Otherwise, I'll have a repeat of the RTX 3060 situation where nothing ever got any air.
It's worse this time, because I'm convinced these cards are fully capable of cooking themselves if I'm an idiot. (I am)
I'm never going to not be angry at the fact that we've collectively accepted that it's fine to infect kids repeatedly with a virus that causes, among many other issues, brain damage and immune problems.
We could have at least given them clean air.
It's absolutely despicable, villainous behaviour for which some of them will suffer for the rest of their lives.
All so the money keeps flowing to the rich.
Unforgiveable.

@beecycling @stinerman @Cassandra @cat @_L1vY_ hm, the orange cat's tail doesn't seem to reflect on the metal trash can, and the orange cat also doesn't affect the lighting of the floor (shadows, reflection) while it's in the air.
It's still a very entertaining video though regardless of compositing.
This article in the Boston Globe during the height of the first wave of the Spanish Flu 1918 global pandemic in the US, alerting the populace of Boston that the previously promulgated social distancing guidelines were inadequate, was published mere days after the publication of a scientific research article in the Journal of American Medicine.
Two medical researchers working for the army decided to experimentally determine how far infectious material was dispersed by air.
It was a clever, simple, and elegant experiment.
