   As a technical writer by trade, I don't write fic. For precisely this reason. The aims of fic & the aims of technical writing are diametrically opposed.

   As it is still open, there is a *tiny* chance the code has not yet landed on the main branch and can be fixed before that. Anyway the PR comments are closed, so it's too late to chime in with the GDPR argument.
