   It's essential to have a group of people which are such a small minority that most people don't know them well, who are vulnerable, and to make them look scary and like the enemy.

   It has been Jewish people before (and will again, Nazis can't wait after trans people are being exterminated to go after Jews again), but it is trans people being prioritized today.

   So how will it be done?

   This post is what genocide apologism always looks like: they started it, they deserve it, self defense, what else are we supposed to do, what about [unrelated], maybe •you’re• the enemy.

   It’s how Hamas defends their atrocities. Same thoughts.

   It’s part of how Hitler talked about the Holocaust, ffs.

   Genocide happens when desperate people deny that’s what they’re supporting. It ends when enough grown-ups say no.

   For shame.

   A lot of very complex, articulate, and diplomatic arguments about Mark Zuckerberg's latest project going on around here.

   This isn't one of them.

   Fuck Zuck, fuck Facebook, and fuck anything of theirs. I literally left Facebook and came to the Fediverse in the first place several years ago to be part of something better here, to be part of something very different. I want nothing to do with any of that evil, destructive garbage, thanks. If you do, then I am not your friend; I am your enemy.

   It's simple really. Don't talk to cops; don't talk to Facebook.
