@jwildeboer @stefano yes, this is really useful. Funny enough, a fedimeteo post for my city just popped up in my timeline 😉

The service seems to have an issue with German umlauts, see e.g. https://de.fedimeteo.com/koln (instead of "köln"), which also manifests as bad hashtags (e.g. #koln instead of #köln).

@stefano @jwildeboer I totally understand the normalization issue and your current solution.
