@georgetakei it’s almost like they know what they are doing is illegal and don’t want their faces public in case the Cheeto in chief ends up being indicted and their protector isn’t able to protect them. If there is still a democracy by 2028, maybe they will face consequences. Not holding my breath, but it is a pleasant thought.

@georgetakei she turned a kids movie that should have been easy money for the studio into a condemnation of an animated touchstone millions of people remember fondly. She is solely responsible for the disappointing box office for this movie. Her continuing push to turn this into a racial issue is going to make any producer or director think twice about her marketability. There are certainly issues with many of Disney’s films made in the 30s, 40s, and 50s, but this was certainly the wrong way to address those issues.

@georgetakei Its certainly to compete with the other networks who didn't lose 50% of their viewers after the orange tinted tyrant won in 2024. I stopped watching any MSNBC news program the moment that happened as well. These anchors are as much to blame for DTs re election as all the democrats in congress. I'm have more compassion to their staff than I do for these folks (rachel maddow included). All mainstream media failed this country, but these folks are casualties of a new more racist country. As the saying goes, "if you come for the king, don't miss!"

@georgetakei This isn't a big deal unless the animal was in a no-kill shelter. So much is happening out there that deserves the increase in anxiety... eating the heart of an animal you killed (arguably to eat) is so far down the list of atrocities committed by white men daily that this really shouldn't be promoted or given attention. Full disclosure, the first time I caught a bluefin tuna over 100 lbs, the crew asked me if I wanted to eat the heart (I declined, but not because of the optics).
