I never cared much for the Rise of the TMNT TV series, but the movie just might be the best TMNT movie...period.

Can't wait for the Lions preseason. Not because I give a shit about the preseason, in fact, I don't give a single flying fuck about it. I can't wait for it so I can start making Hooker jokes again.

There are some days I really get feeling down, mainly due to being a figure like I am who is extremely controversial, someone who most in the industry would never associate with, etc. Add to that endless bigotries and harassment I receive, I often wonder why I bother. Then, you get a DM from someone telling you how much they appreciated an article you wrote and it becomes worth it. It gives you the strength to carry on.

I need y'all to understand: when these freaks finish turning US Soccer and the NWSL into explicitly anti-trans leagues, they will turn their eyes to the PWHL, which also doesn't have a trans policy. This is why we need to force the PWHL into making one NOW that's inclusive.

It's really disheartening how much the internet has taken a step back in accessibility for epileptics. 5 years ago, the setting to turn off autoplay on videos in Firefox worked perfectly. Now, it's situational. 5 years ago, on Chrome, I could install extensions to stop autoplay and stop GIFs from animating. Now, none are supported because it's not "best practices". The internet is so much worse for epileptics now when it had been getting so good. It's so depressing.

something i love doing is going on google maps and using street view to explore cities i've never been to or haven't in a long time. then, if i see a place that looks interesting, look up pictures of the inside and youtube videos of it. today been exploring ottawa. last week, like often, detroit. a few weeks ago, i was checking out places listed in the peter grant series in london.

sometimes i just genuinely hate talking, like, i just straight up do not want to talk. talking sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable. in those moments, like, this evening, i wish i knew asl and my family did too just so i wouldn't have to speak. i hate being expected to talk. wish i could just go between signing and talking, depending what i felt comfortable doing. sometimes my hatred of talking gets so bad i wish i had been born without the ability to speak.

i haven't read "the hunger games" books in 10 years when i was a junior in high school (good lord i'm getting old), but ngl, i actually think i appreciate them now more than i did back then. now that i'm a writer i find myself appreciating the actual writing much more.

auston matthews led team blows it in an elimination game. hilarious when it's the maple leafs, not so hilarious when it's your nation's team.
