I have had it with this freaking depression. It's not unexpected, considering the major changes we've been through over the past months- but I was hoping to avoid it this time. Just hanging out waiting for the meds to work. Once again. BTW, Marc Maron's new HBO special was pretty cathartic- I recommend.

Sometimes stating the obvious is important.

The universe seems to be a very large place. This makes me insanely happy. I'm not even sure why, but when I look at those pics from the Webb telescope I feel joy. It's nice to be a part of it. It's so huge. My mom told me when I was a kid that the night sky went on forever. I was filled with awe. It just keeps growing.

I should wear a sign that says "I'm not as nice as I look" on my shirt at all times.

Lately I've become afraid of the old lady in the mirror. My niece and I took a selfie and when I looked at it I thought "who the fuck is that old woman with my niece?". This is getting scary. It's not dying that scares me, it's turning into my mom. Although, in my case I look more like my dad which is really confusing.
