"Local only" posting in GoToSocial. Although the option exists when posting, it doesn't have the intended effect. At least, not on my instance.

No matter the setting of "Local only", the post is not local-only.

The only effect is: when "Local only" is set, Fedilab adds an eye emoji to the post: 👁

Otherwise, Fedilab seems to work well with GoToSocial!

In recent years there have been one or two talks on accessibility at Stir Trek, except in 2024 there were none. Someone submit a good presentation and get on the schedule for 2025!

The Fedilab Android app has a shiny new update. Posts that are too long can now be split into multiple entries and posted at the same time.

Also there are some nice accessibility related features:

- Option to underline links in messages.

- Option to always show the scrollbar, instead of hiding when not in use.

Thanks to the devs for this great app that keeps getting better.

I'm a little confused about the use case. Is this for other systems besides Mastodon? Can you give an example of an account that has only articles, where this would be useful?

Thanks to the makers of #Fedilab for your continued work towards #accessibility on #Android.

The latest version of the app has an setting to require alternate text before making a post. A great reminder for users sharing images on Mastodon, Pixelfed, or Friendica servers.

I hope all Fedilab users turn the setting on, so everyone can benefit from your pictures!
