Imagine kindergarteners and 1st graders learning to write cursive with a stylus and tablet.

We do a disservice to them by eliminating this style of writing from school curriculum. Many historical documents were written using the script and if kids can't write it, they can't read it.

But, deep sigh, that is very much the goal. To further erode the critical thinking skills of the general public. The ability to read and examine historical texts will fall to the elite few and the rest of us will be dependent on their interpretations...oh wait.

But also, it's easy to hear all of this stuff that Germany did in the past and think it couldn't (or didn't) happen exactly the same way here.
