@ryanprior @dalias The problem I have with most of these e-mail delivery services is that they're just using the same AWS SMTP that any other schmuck any sign up for and then charging absurd amounts because they have a website that acts as a middleman.

@m0xee @phoronix Most of my computers are Macs and none of them run macOS. They literally cannot run macOS unless I use an ancient version.
10+ years ago, I would run macOS as my primary OS and I would dual boot into Linux (mostly just to teach myself Linux). Linux was. . .not great. Things like trackpad support, going to sleep, etc. were just broken.
Thanks to the efforts of Linux developers who prioritized the Mac, these issues are now resolved and my computers continue to be useful.

@urusan I think one thing libertarians in particular conflate is the ethics of a system with the ethics of results.
Basically, there's more than one way to skin a cat. There are vastly different systems of distributive justice and state influence, which in and of themselves are ethically neutral. It's the results that are ethical or unethical.
I don't care how much capital is owned by the state. I care what the state does with the capital it does own.

@Gargron I'm not so sure about food that requires one to keep Pepto-Bismol so closely on hand.
