I can't think of a single disease that a three day work absence helps prevent the spread of.

I can think of a lot of diseases. Quarantine regs to stop them tend to work on 30 day averages. I don't think a period one tenth of that normally required as standard is gonna do the fucking job. Do you? If you do, why are you so mentally utterly fucked?

It's all fucking rubbish. That's not in doubt. Question is, why do we let them get away with it? These fuckers have names and addresses.

The thing about powering through, is that keep doing it, and you end up having to keep powering through everything as your health collapses. Before long you end up like Elvis trying to power through a shit, and then you realise you're going to die on a toilet.

Back away from the the powering through mentality. It's just for the most loyal of self immolating slaves really. You can at least choose to be a lackadaisical slave, as a bare minimum.

On needing to avoid exertion leading to high risks of Longcovid alone, you should probably be taking a fortnight to a month off work, symptomatic or asymptomatic, to relax and vastly reduce your chances of picking up a disability. Powering through is probably the least intelligent thing you can do this decade.

Trust me, you get Longcovid you won't be powering through fuck all ever again. Unless you count eating or getting to cleaning a one bedroom flat. Don't fuck around.

Many are incrementally losing organ functionality to COVID over a span of years.Could be one organ, it's likely to be more than one, could be many. Some with repeat infections, some off just one infection severe enough to kickstart lifelong debilitating conditions. It's shaving years off the lives of not millions, but billions.

It doesn't hurt until it hurts.

If there's one idea I wish I could just direct implant in people's brains. It's that. It will save the most innocent lives...
