I like marketing because it's smart and innovative when done well.I don't like marketing gurus because they base their ideas on things that used to work, and think of everything as a manipulation and a selling strategy, instead of promoting innovation and showing the truth about a product or art.

Often people say "your music is art" when they compliment a great musician. But how did we get here? Do people largely not believe that music is art? I can't imagine someone looking at a great painting saying "this painting is art" as a compliment to the painter, so why is that a thing for musicians?

Liking the people you love is underrated.

I always thought that as I become a better me, more people will like me. It turns out that, as I become truly better, very sensitive to others but still knowing my boundaries and ambitious about my career, that more and more people actually leave. I think I had lots of people in my life who couldn't stand me getting better, who liked me better flawed. And now when I'm at my best, and lost most of my friendships I wonder, do I have to be sad or mean to be likeable?

Neo Nazis attacked me here today so I wrote them a little song, it's actually not for them but for you to listen. Negative emotions leave with artwork. I'm sad for them that they only make their feelings worse through trolling amd Holocaust denial etc. Hope you like this very very raw recording of a song I just wrote in the past half an hour.

I'm Jewish and Israeli. Today is the Holocaust remembrance day. It's a day to speak against the systematic killings of 6m Jewish people in the times of WW2. But also to remember that anti semitism still exists and gets worse every year. It comes in the form of hate gainst the entire Jewish state instead of specifics. It comes in celebs and in killings. In blaming EVERYTHING ON THE JEW. I have PTSD from anti semitism. Being Jewish is terrifying these days.
