I deleted my BlueSky account. Ken White joined in with Denise Paolucci to harass me. This was a coordinated attempt by tech influencers to silence me over a jokey post, to deliberately distort what I said with phony dog whistle language, and impugn me. But hey now I have a blocklist that I can use for a block party here!

The whole point that I was trying to communicate -- jokingly -- was that a prohibition on mimicking language means no satire. White, as a First Amendment guy, knows this. But he resorted to ad hominem, of course. And he succumbed to that evil criminal defense part of him.

I'm still unclear what I did to deserve this, but I tender my apology to Paolucci for the misunderstanding. This was simply a jokey post.

Oh please, MSNBC. These people have gone out of their way to overthrow our democratic republic and corrupt America and drive our nation increasingly towards fascism. And they have done so largely without consequences. Let the Internet get some much needed catharsis with the mug shots. This egregious article feels as if it's been written by some GOP operative.

The Fediverse has a white people problem. White people refuse to acknowledge their own privilege here. And no matter how reasonable and fact-based you are, they would sooner unfollow you rather than consider their own inherent biases, which have been well documented by many. This failure to grapple with systemic racism is obviously tied in with late-stage capitalism, which rewards white people for looking the other way and keeping their complacent middle-class heads lodged in the sand. This behavior is really not much different from how things stood one hundred years ago, as the terrific volume BLACK METROPOLIS has informed me. If most of these upper middle-class types on Mastodon existed then, they would behave as whites did then. The time has come for white people to listen to others and consider the dregs of their own prejudices.

More on the egg pricing crisis. I have already covered how egg companies have price gouged us -- we had a bird flu in 2015, comparable number of bird deaths, and prices doubled then and quadrupled now.

Well, I do not want to suggest a conspiracy theory, but chicken farmers have recently reported more eggs (greater fertility) when switching from corporate feed to local feed (see the TikTok below). And this does strike me as something that should be rigorously investigated -- by the FDA and any other authorities. If Purina and others have altered their feed, and were aware of the effects on chicken fertility, thus driving egg prices up -- possibly in collusion with the price gouging -- well, then this is a HUGE story.
