Did I understand correctly that shares collection is limited to announce actions (boosts) and does not include replies as they are create actions?
I was wondering if the share information you referred to also allows to track replies… Sorry if it’s a stupid question, I am trying to come up with a coherent idea of how things work while reading the recommendation doc ?

@evan ahah when at Twitter, we developed a tool to visualize tweet spread… I always showed Cory’s tweets as an example, because his infinite threads ended up in such unique images!?
I’d love to see something similar on Mastodon - too bad that from a single instance one cannot get a full picture of how a post actually spreads (with boosts and replies) in the fediverse.
