"Node.js now includes a built-in sqlite module (require('node:sqlite')) that becomes available when using the --experimental-sqlite flag": https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/53752
And after all, SQLite is a universal, free and widely used database, so adding native (meaning well maintained) support to Node.js makes a lot of sense for many beginners.
I don't see that this encourages insecure data more than the 'node:fs' module.
In #Trondheim 🇳🇴 we can get up to 1.000 NOK for buying and mounting spikes on bikes. This money comes from Miljøpakken (https://miljopakken.no/nyheter/sok-stotte-til-piggdekk-bli-vintersyklist) which is a communal effort to decrease car use in the city. It's a very fast application process, and I should have the money within a few days after having been to the bike store today.
