You're a hospital. in the middle (both geographically and timewise) of a Measles outbreak. During an ongoing (yet mostly ignored) pandemic of a disease that can permanently disable people who get it. Both are known airborne diseases. And you have to scramble to implement an "emergency masking policy"

Oh geez. Tornado Warnings are starting now too, adding to the Dust Storms & rapidly moving Grass Fires all through various deep red states.

Good thing NOAA, NWS, FEMA, & Firefighting services are all fully staffed & funded and up to the challenge.

Social Security would normally not provide this access “even to our most skilled and highly trained experts,” she wrote.

Please don’t plant any variety of mustard in burn scars. It’s a very invasive plant that will result in vast fields of an annual that dries out by late summer leaving flashy fuels tall enough to ladder a grass fire into a canopy fire.

Mustard seeds scattered by Spanish colonizers so they could retrace their steps is a significant reason why some SoCal landscapes have changed from chaparral that burns every decade or two to grasslands that can burn every year
