I read a Politico piece that referred to students walking out to demand a ceasefire as an “antisemitic incident.”

That kind of nonsense tells people that there’s no shame in being called an antisemite and that perhaps reports of real antisemitic incidents are overblown. Just makes the world more dangerous for Jews. #media #gazaprotests #antisemitism

They seem capable of describing things in other countries in plain terms.

This is a well reported piece but the framing is bizarre.

When a mob attacks a group of protesters under cover of darkness, they are not counter-protesting.

And as the reporting makes clear, they didn’t “provoke” violence, they *perpetrated* it as the cops and campus security stood by. #media #fascism #gazaprotests
